THE DETAILS / PRIVACY
Your information.
Handled with care.
How we use the information you share with us, and the choices and rights you have.
Who is responsible for your information
Amit Kumar is responsible for this website and for the personal information used to handle enquiries to K and R Property. In data protection law, this makes Amit Kumar the controller.
For questions about your information or to exercise your rights, email amit@akpro.uk or call 07886 959870.
You can also write to 13 Raleigh Road, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 2DU.
Information you give us
When you email or call, we receive the contact details and information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, telephone number, property location and the nature of your enquiry.
Please keep your first message to the information needed to discuss your enquiry. Do not send identity documents, bank details, health information or unnecessary personal information about tenants or other people.
There is no online enquiry form. Email links open your own email application; telephone links open your calling application.
Why we use it
We use your details to understand and reply to your enquiry, discuss any next steps and keep relevant correspondence.
Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we use your information to take those steps. For other enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We also rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure, and comply with legal obligations where they require us to keep records.
Providing information is voluntary, but we need a way to contact you if you would like a reply. Making an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.
Website security and providers
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. It processes technical information, such as your IP address, browser details and page requests, to deliver and protect the site.
Hostinger provides the business email service and processes messages to deliver, store and protect them. Amit Kumar handles the correspondence.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law. This website has no advertising or analytics services and does not create a separate database of enquiries.
International processing
Cloudflare and our email provider use international infrastructure and service providers, so information may be processed outside the United Kingdom.
Cloudflare’s and Hostinger’s published data processing terms include standard contractual clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for relevant transfers to countries without an adequacy decision. These are contractual safeguards for personal information transferred abroad.
The provider terms below explain these safeguards. You can also contact amit@akpro.uk for information about transfers relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not lead to further work are deleted after 12 months. Records relating to ongoing work are kept for the period needed for that work and any applicable contractual or legal requirements.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site has no advertising trackers, analytics, embedded maps or social-media embeds. Fonts and illustrations are hosted with the website.
The website itself does not set cookies or store information in your browser. Cloudflare may use security cookies if it needs to verify a request.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
Contact amit@akpro.uk to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.

We will update this notice if the way we use information changes.
